The Matrot family is one of the oldest wine families in Meursault, with vineyards in Meursault, Pouligny-Montrachet, and Maranges. Matrot wines excel in purity, purity, and elegance. Maranges is located in the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune and is a neighbor of Santenay. The vines are on average thirty years old, and the soil consists of chalky clay. The wine is fermented with 100% natural yeasts and matures for 15 months in barrels (20%) that are partly old and partly new. Before bottling, the wine is lightly filtered and aged for a further three months in steel.
