Estate information:
This château is located in a beautiful spot in the Perigord, with a magnificent view of the Dordogne valley, along the wine route between Monbazillac and Pomport. Véronique and Michel Monbouché purchased this château in 1989 as fourth-generation winemakers.
The 60-hectare vineyard is planted on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils where all grape varieties of the Bergerac and Monbazillac appellations are brought together. Quality wines are produced using the méthode traditionnelle, which are representative of the terroirs of the Bergeracois.
Significant investments have been made in the renovation of the buildings and cellars to improve working conditions, production, and wine storage. The vineyard has also been restructured to align with quality objectives.
