When I first set foot on the wine path over 20 years ago, I met Stéphane Vedeau when I entered a small kitchen in Servian where he and oenologist Claude Serra were tasting and testing blends. The former company, Maurel and Vedeau, was sold, and today Stéphane follows his heart by making fantastic wines at the old family estate in the Rhône. We now sell his fantastic La Tour Coste wines. In addition to a delicious Côtes du Rhône Villages, these include a Crozes-Hermitage, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Châteuneuf-Du-Pape.

Stéphane’s philosophy: Our wines grow in a completely natural environment in harmony with the original vegetation. The vines are treated with the utmost care throughout the year, purely with the intention of growing fruit of the highest possible quality. No chemicals or pesticides are used. Good wine can only be created when grapes of the very best quality are used.
