Deep red colour with purple accents, complex, blackcurrant fruit, liquorice, pepper.
The haunting bouquet of violets, forest floor, red beets and berries holds you in its gentle grip so that you have to force yourself to take a sip. But when you do, the combination of great concentration and finesse is truly breathtaking. Dazzling mineral freshness in the almost endless finish. Fermented and matured in concrete tanks. -Stuart Pigott, Mar 2025

The soil is volcanic with abundant fragmented granite. The vines are up to 80 years old. The wines are aged in steel tanks, concrete vats, and/or used wooden barrels and are unfiltered.
