The Castelnuovo del Garda Cooperative was founded in 1958 by 11 winegrowers who agreed on a course of action in Verona. Their philosophy is clear: they are based on sustainability principles and have a clear desire to leave a legacy for their children. Today, they own 900 hectares of vineyards on the hills southeast of Lake Garda. In 2006, the cooperative underwent a major facelift, bringing it fully up to date with modern winemaking processes and the necessary equipment. They produce excellent regional wines at a reasonable price.
