Coöperatie Castelnuovo del Garda was founded in 1958 by 11 winegrowers in Verona who agreed on the course to be followed. The philosophy is clear; they work from principles of sustainability with a clear desire to leave something beautiful behind for their children. Today, they own 900 hectares of vineyards on the hills southeast of Lake Garda. In 2006, the cooperative underwent a major facelift and became fully up to date regarding modern winemaking processes and the necessary equipment. They produce excellent wines from the region at a great price.
