This winery was founded in 1999 when two wine enthusiasts, Luis Remesal and José Antonio Fernàndez, joined forces. Luis Remesal comes from a family of winemakers whose history stretches back several centuries to when his ancestors arrived in Toro to cultivate the first vineyards. José Antonio is a renowned winemaker whose reputation extends beyond Spain. Since 2003, they have operated from a newly built winery in San Roman de Hornija (Valladolid), equipped with the latest wine-making equipment. Luis Remesal's son, Mario, recently joined the company.
