Bodegas De Alberto Gutièrrez
The winery covers 80 hectares and is located in the town of Serrada, about 25 kilometers from Valladolid. It is housed in an old farmhouse founded by Dominican monks in the 17th century. The old galleries with their stone vaults form a veritable labyrinth beneath the town of Serrada. Their total length is over 1 kilometer.
The area where De Alberto's vineyards are located belongs to the DO Rueda in Central Spain and is bisected by the Duero River. It is one of the most ideal regions for winemaking in the world, with its climate, soil, and location. In addition to the aforementioned conditions, the region employs the most modern equipment and techniques to elevate the quality of its wines to the highest possible level.
