In the Côtes de Thongue, about 30 kilometers west of Montpellier, the “Les Vignerons d’Alignan” cooperative is located in the small village of Alignan (only 1,200 inhabitants). They have access to 850 hectares of vineyards, where, in addition to local grape varieties, they also work with Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet, and Sauvignon.
