Pascal Marchand, a Canadian by birth and originally from Quebec, was known as a "flying winemaker" in Australia and Chile. But his passion for Burgundy, and the advice of the legendary Henri Jayer, led him to France in 1983 to become a winemaker in his dream region. Enthusiastic as he was, he quickly connected with young, innovative winemakers who were starting to make organic and biodynamic wines.
