With its expressive aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, and violets, this Brouilly showcases the charm of the Gamay grape in its most refined form. The wine is supple and lively, with a beautiful balance between fresh fruit tones, elegance, and finesse. An accessible yet characterful Beaujolais Cru with a soft structure and a pleasantly long, juicy finish.

The estate is located in Lancié, in the heart of the Beaujolais. In 1976, Gérard Gelin—son and grandson of winemakers—purchased the "Clos des Nugues," from which the estate takes its name. In 2000, his son Gilles joined to further develop the estate. In 2008, Gérard retired, and Gilles' wife, Magali, joined the estate. In 2010, Gilles took full control of the family business.
In 2018, the estate achieved the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, a recognition of sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture. Since 1976, new vineyard plots surrounding the estate have been gradually acquired.
