Domain information:
This château is situated in a beautiful spot in the Périgord, with stunning views of the Dordogne valley, along the wine route between Monbazillac and Pomport. Véronique and Michel Monbouché purchased this château in 1989 as fourth-generation winegrowers.
The 60 hectares of vineyards are planted on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils, where all the grape varieties of the Bergerac and Monbazillac appellations are cultivated: Sauvignon, Sémillon, and Muscadelle for the white wines, and Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. The result is high-quality wines representative of the Bergeracois terroirs.
Significant investment has been made in renovating the buildings and cellars to improve working conditions, production, and wine storage. The vineyard has also been restructured to align with quality objectives.
